Hi! My name is Kayleigh.
I love making, in the broad sense of the word. 
I’ve been an artist/maker/creator for as long as I can remember. 
Working with my hands has always made me feel happy and I’ve explored many different fields such as installation, photography, illustration, furniture making, painting, glass work and now tattooing. 

I started as a shop manager at The Ink Society in 2018 and was surrounded by tattoos. One day Wietske, the owner, asked me if I would like to learn how to tattoo. 
After some consideration I decided to go for it, to learn a new technique and translate my work to this medium. 
I fell in love with the craft and have been working on it ever since! 

Now, what is my style of tattooing?
I am inspired by my surroundings, from the plants I have in my house, architecture, faces or the texture of a material. 
I use these elements to create my designs, often but not always, through abstraction, breaking down what I see into simplified elements to make a new composition. 

Tattooing is something personal, a keepsake that stays with you. 
It can be something meaningful or something simply fun! 

Whatever the case, I strive for you to leave with something personal and unique that truly feels yours.
