RULES OF THE INK SOCIETY
We have a separate tattoo, client and work area.
Clients are not allowed to bring other people.
The Ink Society can be quite busy and we do not have the space to accommodate friends/family of your client.
If your client has a medical condition or a valid reason to have someone with them please let us know and we can accommodate.In the tattoo area no food or drinks are allowed.
Please keep an eye on your clients belongings so that they do not put them in clean areas. They can leave them in designated areas. Ask us where.
Please make sure you remove all your rings, armbands/bracelets, and your watch before tattooing your customer.
Nail polish and fake nails are not allowed in The Netherlands for tattoo artists.
We have strict hygiene protocols.
Please read the hygiene guidelines thoroughly.
If you have any questions regarding the hygiene guidelines let us know. On the days that you are there, you can also ask the artists or shop managers present.You cannot work outside of our opening hours unless agreed upon beforehand.
PLANNING
Before you start we would like to give you a tour of the shop so we can get to know each other!
We can show you where everything is and answer all your questions. The tour will happen on the first day you arrive.
The opening hours of the studio are 10.00 until 17.00, it is not possible to work outside of these hours.
Please let us know what time you are planning to arrive at the studio on your first day for the tour!
We ask the guest artists to plan their own appointments.

Podigeen soap
Gloves
Ink cups
Spatulas
Witch hazel
Clip cords
Griptape
Floor lamps for tattooing
Second skin (Tattoomed brand)
Oxywipes
Other basic tattoo equipment
We ask you to bring:
Your machine(s) and equipment
Ink
Needles
Headlight if you use it
Please check if your inks are allowed in the EU.
The EU requires REACH-approved inks. If you are not sure if your ink is REACH-approved you can ask us!
COST
All guest spots are 70/30, 70% for the artist and 30% for The Ink Society.
Guest artists only deal with cash, clients will not be able to pay with debit or credit card.
At the end of your stay, you can give an envelope with 30% of your turnover to either Wietske, the shop manager present or put it in the spot the shop managers showed you.
